Models Own Polish For Tans

The sun has been shining in London this week and it’s been fabulous. It’s amazing how a few sunny days can make winter feel like a million years ago. Whilst it doesn’t exactly mean I’m now sporting a dusky tan  (I’ll never have one of those without copious layers of fake tan), it does have me thinking about Summer and mixing up the shades ready for the warmer in the sunshine. Which makes these Models Own Polish For Tans absolutely perfect- neon shades, with a touch of pastel to them just amplify whatever colour you have (which right now would be zero).

The shades dry to a semi-matte finish – which I think is actually another touch to make them flattering for tans. But you can of course add a glossy top coat if you like (FYI: Seche Vite is the best top coat know to woman).

I’m not sure I would be able to pull of the neon green ‘Flip Flop’ shade, but I do really love the pink ‘Shades’ and orange ‘Beach Bag’. I also have my eye on the slightly paler pink (more Barbie, less hot pink) ‘Sun Hat’. These shades would be gorgeous to show off a tan, but also would look equally stand out on paler skin (phew). Perfect for Summer – if you just want that pop of colour to brighten things…you can’t get much brigher than ‘Flip Flop’ neon green.. it looks like it’s almost glowing!

Here’s to a fabulous long weekend, filled with sunshine (fingers crossed) – London has been giving us a good run of Spring weather so far, long may it continue!

I do like it too – it’s so bright! I’m just not sure I’d be able to pull it off! 🙂
