Day two and look two – a bit of a variation on the golden look but this time it’s a golden eyes with a bit of a rose balm lip and lots and lots of lashes!
My first impression on this one was a little hesitant because I’m off to a rather fabulous wedding reception this evening and I wasn’t sure how the outfit would work with the look but luckily I went with a red printed skirt so was a perfect match. Especially with the lip being a sheer balm rather than bold colour.
The mascara is fab – just my sort of brush and loved the build up effect on the lashes is great. First few coats are more natural, but add a few extra and it gets more and more dramatic.
Base wise, I’m wearing the same No.7 Light one from yesterday and still loving. It really is seriously impressive – very comfortable wearing and I really love the finish, perfectly natural but also evening out too.
The shadow stick is also really cool – it sets so quickly but once on doesn’t budge. Let’s see how it holds up on a hot summer evening busting some moves on the wedding dancefloor!
So far, the looks aren’t too crazy so I’m ok so far… I have a feeling some future looks may be forcing me out of my neutral safety net and into the world of colour. We shall see!
Let me know in the comments what you think of the day two look!

You created a lovely look with your kit. These are such a great idea. I want to try that Mascara & I am a big fan of shadow sticks. They’re so easy to apply, blend & they last quite a long time on me. So thats a win win situation
