I love a spangly top coat – one, because I seem to have become more and more attracted to sparkly things in recent years and two, because I like how the addition of a layer of sparkle can get a few extra days out of a one colour manicure… lazy girls beauty tip right there for you. These are three shades from the Sally Hansen Color Frenzy (or Colour Frenzy if you’re British…) and they’re rather spangle-tastic.
Of course because each shade is glitter in a clear base, they would look best when over a colour to make them really pop. With different colours working better with each one. For example I think the black and white shade ‘Spark and Pepper’ would look great over a white base to make the black pop out. Or the blue ‘Sea Salt’ would look good over something like a mint or a pale blue to add to the blue effect. Then the ‘Fruit Spritz’ shade would work well over a lime or an orange that’s maybe a touch brighter than the shades in the matte sequins.
My favourite shade is the Sea Salt one…but then it would be based on my love of all things blue-nail related!
Sally Hansen Color Frenzy * polishes are available from Boots.com (£6.99)
They all look beautiful, I wouldn’t be able to pick a favourite!
I would apply a layer over polish on my ring fingers only to create the accent nail effect.

I love the nail polish in shade ‘fruit glitz’. I could also see it over an orange or maybe even a white.
Perfect shades for summer
