Brands to watch in 2015

brands to watch in 2015
When it comes to blogging beauty, I tend to be fairly easily distracted by the ‘big name’ brands. Being totally honest – being the beauty junkie I am there’s always that real exciting buzz of ‘Ooh it’s Estee Lauder/Bobbi Brown/Dior/YSL…. etc) but now and then, there’s a smaller, unique, independent brand that pops up and grabs my attention. There are a few of these that I think are the ‘Brands to watch in 2015’…

The Lacquer Lab – I reviewed The Lacquer Lab’s latest collection HERE and it basically has me hooked. This brand is seriously cool (helps that Emily, the creative director of the brand is seriously cool too). The polishes are unique colours (no easy task in a market flooded with shades) and there’s an awesome selection of top coats in there too. Very excited to see what this brand does in 2015 and hope to see it go from strength to strength.

Resultime by Collin – Another brand that feels to me like a new discovery, but to see it on Cult Beauty means I know it’s clearly a rather exciting brand. I’ve just tried the ‘hero’ product of the Regenerating Collagen Gel (you can read it HERE). I also have a couple more products waiting in the wings (an eye cream and a serum) and feel like this is one of those brands that’s popping up more and more and the buzz means 2015 could be an exciting year for them.

Bite Beauty – Ok, so a pretty well established and popular brand in the US. This lip centric brand is awesome and it’s definitely the top of many a blogger’s shopping list when hitting the states (pretty sure I’m not just talking for myself…) I would LOVE to see Bite Beauty launch in the UK in 2015. I can see it in Selfridges beauty hall or perhaps even Space NK. So far I’m loving the Agave Lip Mask and the Lip Wipes…

Delilah Cosmetics – A seriously stunning brand. Brining the real luxury back for make-up, but combining amazing products with stunning packaging. Not that a product’s success is largely based on first impressions of packaging, but when you’re spending a fair amount, you want to know it’s good and feel those extra little details are truly worth it. But not only is the range gorgeous, the products are stunning too – really great quality and just fantastic products. I’ve had a play with a few things and so far have LOVED the blusher and the primer as real stand outs for me. I’ve heard very exciting things about the foundation – currently it’s a salon based brand, but would be exciting to see this grow next year and maybe hit some department stores like Liberty or Fenwicks perhaps.

Tarte – Ok, anther well established brand, especially in the US and whilst it is available in the UK exclusively via QVC at the moment. I can see that this one has loads of potential for more expansion as the selection of products and shades is no-where near the full brand’s offering. I can see this one perhaps launching into a UK store so we can get our hands on it that little bit more accessible and I reckon this will be a brand that’s exciting to watch next year. The Amazonian Clay Blushers are my personal favourites so far.

Zoeva – Another brand that I’m both impressed by and excited about. Seriously gorgeous stuff – just look at those stunning rose gold brushes and take a moment to check out THIS palette too. Their quality really defies the cost of these – I do love an affordable and impressive brand. This brand is German based and available online (both on their own site plus on Beauty Bay) but rumour has it there’s exciting things coming from them in the near future – and I for one am first in line to see what they have in store given how fab the bits I’ve tried so far are!

What brands are on your radar for 2015? Oh, and if Sephora could come back to the UK in 2015 that would be awesome too…
