I love beauty products, I really do. But if you ask me to choose between sleep and an added beauty routine…sleep every time. So a beauty product that works whilst I sleep? Already sold. The Body Shop are the latest to join in the sleeping beauty product range with The Body Shop Drops of Youth Sleeping Mask.
The Body Shop Drops of Youth Sleeping Mask is a strange bouncy texture – like a bit of a solid gel in a way. As you poke it it sort of re-forms into the same shape again? Hard to describe but hopefully you get what I mean.
Smell wise it’s clean and fresh – definitely not one that would bother you as you try to sleep at all. It just feels like quite a fresh and hydrating night cream really. It just soaks in like a dream and really keeps skin hydrated over night without feeling too heavy.
In terms of results, it feels lovely but I wasn’t totally blown away. As someone with combination/dehydrated skin – I wake up feeling like it’s nicely soft and fairly hydrated. I think it suits combination skin for sure – but if it’s seriously dehydrated then maybe not for you? Or combine with the rest of your skincare routine.
