The beauty world is one that is mostly inhabited by women, but that doesn’t mean that the boys don’t want a bit of pampering too. This is not to discredit the many men out there who are embracing the benefits of beauty products (although I still think man-scara is going too far). There are many who love a bit of a scrub and some moisturiser, but as a general rule they would treat wearing a face mask as being on-par with going out in their girlfriends knickers on the effeminate side.
That is till there was a ‘man mask’, especially designed by the lovely Yon-Ka people to specifically meet the needs of male skin and treat the skin-signs of fatigue, stress, and overindulgence. The man-mask provides a deep-cleansing, detoxifying treatment especially to give male skin a bit of a pampering boost.
In practice (when tested by my lovely male volunteer) the mask is fairly thin in texture, compared to other clay-based masks, but smooths on evenly and dries within about 10-12 mins. The clay leaves skin really deeply clean, and the orange essential oil leaves skin feeling revitalised, whilst counteracting the potentially drying effects of the clay. Overall, the mask got a rave review.
The Yon-Ka range is available from http://www.feelunique.com/ with the mask priced £24.30 including delivery (RRP: £26.40)
