This Saturday I was one of a lucky group of bloggers to be invited to go along to Bourjois HQ for a preview of some of the bits coming this Spring, and to generally peruse the selection of products the brand offers.

Bourjois make-up artist, Cassie Lomas, demonstrated the new Spring make-up colours – which include pretty corals and a gorgeous lime/gold eyeliner on the inner 1/3 of the lower lash line. It looked beautiful and I’m definitely going to try it, although I think it may look better on brown eyes than blue, but no harm in giving it a go.

I do have to say, that since I started blogging I have been fortunate enough to be invited to a few events. Every one is a bit different, but this is the first one where the organisers gave us the freedom to look at the products and choose the ones we want to test. Personally I really appreciated this – it meant that I could pick out the colours/textures/general products that appealed to me.

Looks like you had a fanastic day hunny, them cupcakes look so yummy! hehe. Can’t wait to read your thoughts on the products, you’re so lucky being invited.

Om nom nom cupcakes ๐
The event sounds like it was amazing, I’m practically drooling over all the free stuff you got. I always head right over to the Bourjois stand when Im in Kmart or Target and go swatch crazy, but I’ve never bought anything from them yet.
Hello! It’s my first comment on your blog, so first of all let me say I really enjoy reading it ๐
Sounds like it was a great day for you girls! Goody bags look scrumptious, as do the cupcakes.
Can’t wait for your review of both the Healthy Mix foundation and concealer – especially concealer looks like something I would be extremely tempted to try.
It was a lovely event – and I was so lucky to be invited! Have used pretty much just Bourjois for my make-up for the past couple of days and really enjoying it. Will do a full review sometime this week.
@Olaola – thank you for the first comment – hope you come back for more! Will give the foundation and concealer a proper review this week – really like them so far, very impressed.
@Noorabella – lol at the ‘foundation crack-fiend’ comment, I have the same thing! Always need a better fix of skin-perfecting slap!
Awww, I loved the little watering can too! How cute! Was good to see you, lovely. xx
