Nail varnish changes colour in the sun. My pretty coral colour turned orange… must remember to take nail varnish remover or apply a UV shield top coat.
Foreign cocktails are strong.
I will never have a deep mahogany tan, but I will have lots of freckles (Nivea Protect & Bronze Suncream is absolutely fab).
Which leads to two other things I also learnt…
It’s possible to burn even when in the shade. Wear SPF people! (FYI: I always wore suncream, but on the last day wore one too low SPF for my pale skin and went a little bit pink)
Telling the boyfriend that the suncream I bought had fake tan in (it doesn’t) doesn’t stop him wanting to use it.
