Mystery skincare product unveiled…

I recently posted a mention of this mystery skincare product I had been trying out – a label-less bottle of creamy green liquid. With no press release or information to give me a clue who the brand behind the new launch was.
The mystery skincare product in the middle…

I thought this was a really novel idea, removing any preconceptions I already had of a brand before trying and judging purely on the product itself.
My overall thoughts were:
– It smells amazing
– It leaves my skin soft
– It’s very creamy (downside being it’s not too easy to rinse off)
On Friday last week I went along to the big unveiling of the mystery brand… and can reveal it is teen-age favourite CLEARASIL.
Was I surprised? Yes and no. Yes – it smells good and definitely doesn’t feel like a normal oily/problem skin product at all. No – I had an inkling from trying their new perfecta wash earlier in the year…
I do like how they are making the products a nicer experience to use – the new range if far more sink-friendly (as in not embarrassing to display on the sink – it doesn’t scram ‘I have spots!!!’ in the same way)
The above pictures are from the unveiling event where they suspended the products (in their proper, rather than mystery packaging) in ice – along with the key ingredients that help the skin and make them smell amazing.
My final thought, I really thought I was past my Clearasil years but having tried the Wash and Mask I would happily keep this in the cupboard as a standby product for if my skin ever plays up.
