Glossybox September

A little heads-up, this is my favourite box yet – and not even for the contents. LOOK at how adorable the print is. Of course, I’m not really quite as shallow as to say this box beats all others purely because of the fact it’s my favourite colour and has a cute print…but still – LOOK at it!

The box has been designed by Maggie Li and is definitely a keeper. In fact, I wish I could have multiple boxes and use them for storage as the design is so pretty. But design aside, lets get down to the nitty gritty and talk about what’s in it!

In my box this month I received the following:

Lady Gaga Fame fragrance sample
Rodial Glamoxy Snake Serum mask sachet (x2)
Rodial 5 Minute Facial sachet (x2)
Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream
Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream
L’Oreal Professional Techni Art Full Volume Extra Mousse
L’Oreal Professional Techni Art Liss Control (smooth control gel cream)

Frankly, that’s a pretty impressive amount of products to fit in one box! Of the above, the Lady Gaga Fragrance I have tried before (review here), I have tried the Rodial Glamoxy Snake Serum mask but not the 5 Minute Facial – so good to get to give this a go. I know Rodial actually sell 10-packs of these masks so this is a good value inclusion of a sachet (normally I’m a bit ‘meh’ about sachets…).

The Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream and the Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture Cream have be very excited – I’ve really liked everything I’ve tried from Balance Me (especially the lip balm) and I really like the Vitamin E Body Shop oil, so looking forward to giving these both a go. The two L’Oreal Professional products look interesting – the mousse is ideal for my flat hair and I do love a travel size anything…I doubt I’ll bother much with the Liss Control, but as always – a very subjective thing.

Overall – LOVE this box, not *just* for the design, but the fact that it’s turquoise has swung it for me a little…

PR sample.

I totally agree with Sara. I’ve been using that vitamin e cream for years, I got the Balance Me wonder eye cream with Glamour mag and you can pick up the L’Oreal stuff in any supermarket, chemist or store that sells health and beauty products! I bet you could get the Lady Gaga Fame perfume sample from a perfume counter too.

So glad I unsubscribed from Glossybox.

These boxes are such nice ideas, I wish more of them were available overseas. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be anything like that where I live 🙁

New follower by the way, love your blog already! 🙂
