I’m about as much of a girly girl as you can get. Make-up, sparkly things, shoes, bags…. all those stereotypical girly things make it onto my love-list! But pink? Not normally my thing at all – but for some reason I’ve recently been leaning towards the shade more and more so decided to put together a little look with a perky pink theme… the ideal colour for a fresh Spring face!
The main three products that make up the fresh pink look are the three above – Laura Mercier, Clinique and Giorgio Armani. All easy to use products – so another big tick of approval for this look is that it’s speedy to do.
The Clinique Chubby Stick* for eyes is a shimmering fresh pink in ‘Pink and Plenty‘ has a nice hint of shimmering gold to it to keep it flattering rather than like you have been crying (a risk with pink shades!).
The blusher is a new number one love in my make-up life – Giorgio Armani Blushing Fabric* (in shade 3). These blushers – which are so amazing they deserve a full post all to themselves – are a silicone-smooth creamy texture that create a sheer flush of colour on the cheeks that looks and feels totally natural. A tiny amount (a pea sized) is more than enough for a healthy glow – so these tubes will last for ages. The silicone feeling to them also makes them easy to blend when applied – so if you like cream blushers but maybe find application a pain – these could be your answer! Seriously, so much love for these. Would definitely get the product of the season award from me (if I did something like that). Giorgio Armani blushing fabric is available from John Lewis.
Then the final touch is the slick of pinky-coral gloss from Laura Mercier* (available from Urban Retreat Beautique) – this is another reliable season-long shade. The colour is called ‘BonBon’ and it’s pinky but with just enough coral to keep it really flattering on multiple skin tones. This is also in a handy mini size – ideal for handbags (or if you’re like me and unlikely to ever actually finish a whole full sized gloss).
The rest of the face is simple – just my current favourite foundation, Bobbi Brown Skin*, Dior Concealer (which is fab by the way, a tiny bit offers tons of coverage and isn’t drying – but lasts) and Guerlain Mascara* – which I’m still loving since my review! Oh, and I’ve been using the bargain basement MUA Brow Palette (not pictured) from Superdrug, which was only around £3.50!
*PR sample. Others bought by me.
You look so stunning in this picture! I love your makeup 🙂 I’m not a fan of pink lipstick/lipgloss or anything, but this is simply gorgeous!

Thank you – normally I’m the same when it comes to pink, but have been drawn to it recently!
I love the colour of the chubby stick and lipgloss!

They’re gorgeous aren’t they – that gloss is my new favourite! Such an easy way to make my whole face feel more ‘awake’!
Armani’s Fabric range is great. The Face Fabric foundation is one of my favorites – so easy to apply and blend, a real time-saver in the morning ! It makes any cream product glide like a dream. (I feel like a silicon addict now!)
I haven’t tried the face fabric foundation – but after these blushes it’s definitely on my radar! Really want to try their other one – Luminous Silk – too!
Love these pinks and you look absolutely gorgeous!
I’ve always been a lover of pink and this look especially is wonderful! It looks so fresh for spring/summer. I was wondering, have you tried the Bobbi Brown luminous moisturizing foundation or the Smashbox studio skin? I’m in the market for a “special occasion” foundation!

I don’t think of myself as being a typical girlie girl, but I’m always drawn to pink makeup more than any other colour. I think the Armani blush looks gorgeous on you 🙂 x
