Giorgio Armani Blushing Fabric

In a few of my recent face shots there has been one blusher playing a regular starring role and it’s these beauties from Giorgio Armani – they’re called ‘Blushing Fabric’ and they’re totally unique when compared to anything else blush-wise in my collection…

The texture is a light creamy silicone one that weightlessly blends with the skin and leaves such a gorgeous natural finish that has a wash of colour that looks smooth and healthy.

The shades are:

One – a raspberry pink with a slight flash of shimmer. Very pretty for a natural evening glow.

Two – A hotter pink that blends out to a gorgeous ‘pinched cheeks’ flush.

Three – A softer peachy pink that’s really natural and very flattering on paler skin tones and probably the easiest to wear of the three here as the more subtle colour.

Shade three has to be my favourite – it’s absolutely gorgeous, and whilst it’s the least ‘eye catching’ of the three it’s a gorgeous natural colour that’s the perfect balance between pink and peach.

If you want to venture into using cream blushers then this would be an easy way to start – I just apply a small blob with my fingers and blend. It takes seconds, really easy to do. Because the silicone content makes them so fluid and blendable they’re easy to blend out if you get them in the wrong place or go a little overboard with quantity.

Lots of love from me – definitely a winner for product of the month!

They do look lovely, that’s always my worry with liquid foundation that it looks like a 5 year old has applied it (knowing me) I’d probably want to have a go at a counter before committing to buy one.

Ombre: (äm′brā′, äm brā′) is a French word that literally means shaded; a graduation of color. The color gradually fades from dark to light from roots to ends. Think gradient color, like you’d see on a swatch of fabric or skein of yarn.

A lot of companies seem to be coming out with liquid blushes lately, i’m still a bit sceptical but they look gorgeous!
