Right, this is another case of me being a bad blogger and not being quick enough on the posting front. What can I say, sometimes life/work does get in the way – I say this because this months’ Birchbox is a London Fashion Week themed one, and of course – London Fashion Week ended over a week ago…oops! But, on the upside – the goodies in the box are still totally relevant and just as good for anyone running around town or who just wants a bit of a pamper. Plus any beauty box that comes with chocolate always gets my vote – especially when it’s Green&Blacks white chocolate…

So there are a few stand out products – beyond just the chocolate – the mini Bioderma is perfect for a weeekend away and gives those who haven’t a bit of a chance to see what all the fuss is about. Interestingly, Bioderma was one of the products that I saw crop up everywhere at LFW – on all the backstage dressing tables and peeking out of MUA’s kits – although I did also overhear one model say she couldn’t use it as her skin reacted…which is interesting as it’s a brand that I always thought was a good rounder for everyone. But goes to show – everyone’s skin is different!
Then there are two lovely make-up items – the Model Co ‘Party Proof’ Lipstick in a pretty nude shade and the Reverence de Bastien Nail Colour in a classic red – not a brand I have heard of before, but like the shade and always instantly impressed when there’s a nail polish in a beauty box…it’s a quick way to my heart!
There’s also a lovely little bottle of Molten Brown Body Lotion – always handy, but feel like this has cropped up a few times recently so not one that I’m really ‘wow’d’ by to be honest. Then there’s the Aromatherapy Associates Revive Body Gel – an unusual one but also really nice. I’ve been keeping this in my desk drawer for a hydrating refresh. It might become too cool in colder months, but now it feels fab after a clammy tube ride or spending too long in the personal space of someone else’s armpit on the bus.
Overall, another really fab box from Birchbox – to me they seem to have a certain consistency in quality and range of products each month that other beauty services don’t always keep up with.

seeing some really nice birchboxes over the last month made me think that this could be a beauty box I could enjoy subscribing to. Especially when they also give you some chocolate with it!!!
