It’s the last of my backstage reports from London Fashion Week – this one is having a little peek at the looks created for the Topshop Unique show, using Topshop Beauty (of course)! Plus a little bit of model-spotting…. oh hello Cara D and Jordan Dunn!
For the Topshop Show the girls were given gorgeously glowy ‘surfer girl’ matte skin. Healthy matte – that lovely velvety finish that still has a glow to it! The cheeks have a ‘golden metallic dusty plum blush’ on them to compliment the surfer bronzed look.
The eyes are the main feature with a roughed up khol look, especially on the lower eye. Then with gloss on the lid with a soft metallic brown shadow. Then a touch of silver liner applied in the corner of the eyes as you can see best on the shots of Jordan Dunn as it really catches the light.
My favourite part of this look is the finish of the skin – healthy, glowing but matte. My perfect finish – I will be attempting to re-create the same sort of party girl in Ibiza polished glow with the Topshop BB cream myself!
Wow, looks like you had a good time! Great post – I like how you’re emphasising ‘healthy’ skin, something I think people tend to forget about!
I’m glad velvety skin is in right now, suits me far more than the dewy look! xx
I love the look! I didn’t know topshop had a BB cream! Do you know what blush they used? I like the sound of golden metallic dusty plum blush!
