Burberry Beauty Box, Covent Garden

Today I paid the new Burberry Beauty Box Covent Garden a visit – to enjoy one of their #BurberryAcoustic live performance sessions that are being held at the store. Today’s sessions was the fab Denai Moore who sang a mixture of covers and her own songs. Her voice was fab, really chilled out acoustic stuff – but with power behind it making it perfect to warble along to on a long road trip or something too.

Of course, whilst I was there I couldn’t resist checking out the new Burberry Beauty Box – a dedicated beauty (and smaller accessories) store, the first for the brand. Let’s just put it this way, I now have one very expensive wish list on my hands…

The amazing try-on nail bar – just pick your skin tone and then place the shades on the spaces at the top and the shade on the nail shows up.

I adored the Burberry Beauty Box – the soft pastel leather pouches/clutches are absolutely gorgeous and I really want one in my life (a nice powder pink would be fabulous…thank you very much). Then my top picks are the eyeshadow quads – all totally wearable neutral versions with a touch of colour in some, but all on the gorgeously nude side.

Now, I haven’t tried all that many bits from the Burberry beauty range so far – just the nails, a couple of the lipsticks and an eyeshadow quad – and have to say that the nails and the quads are absolutely beautiful. Expensive, yes – but just look at that beautiful packaging and how pretty they are. Totally worth it.

Yeah, going to have to get the eyeshadow quads. Those colors are fantastic! Also, I love their lipstick & gloss presentation. I like seeing them together like that. It helps me decide if I want one or both.
