I’ve had my eye on the Dior Cream Blush ‘Capri’ * shade since I first spotted then last July at Charles De Gaulle airport duty free. Why I didn’t pick one up at that point I’ll never know (everyone knows duty free shopping doesn’t count) but I didn’t. But now I do finally have my hands on it and I can tell you if it was worth the wait. Overall, I do have a weakness for cream blushers – they just look so pretty and fresh on the skin, they’re easy to apply (much easier than you would probably assume on first look). The Dior range comes in four shades, with Capri – a bright pink with a slight coral tone to it. A perfect colour for Spring/Summer.
The little pot for this is adorable – it has that definite ‘luxe’ Dior feeling – you just know it’s a premium piece of make-up from the packaging alone. On the skin the cream blush takes a slightly more blue toned looked than in the pot – in the pot it feels like it has a bit of a coral colour pop to it, on the skin it’s definitely cooler toned. I applies as fairly medium pigment, and blends out easily to create a soft flush of colour. This would be lovely as a quick and easy make-up day with a BB cream and lashings of mascara for a girly glow.
The other shades in the range include Bikini – a hot, red-toned pink; Panama – a coral red shade and Pareo -a bright pink. This is definitely the softest of the shades, but if you take a look at the others don’t let the brightness put you off. They apply more sheer than they look so you can either wear more subtly or build for stronger colour. If you have pale skin like mine then Capri is probably the best shade to suit, but they’re all worth a try! Overall, a lovely cream blush that feels like a real treat to use.

I have always absolutely loved bright baby pink blushes and this shade just looks stunning. The shade paired with the packaging just makes it such a gorgeous product. If only I could afford it at the moment haha. Thanks for the review and swatches!

I have the same thing with pink blushers – love them!
Such a pretty shade! How’s the lasting power?

Pretty good, it sets sort of powdery rather than creamy so it lasts really nicely.
That looks divine! I love cream blushes & this shade looks perfect! Will definitely be picking this one up!

Oh wow this looks GORGEOUS. I love pinky pinks like this in blushers, and I’m quite pale too so think this’d be perfect for me. The packaging is divine too x

That shade is really beautiful, and I’d really love to try the BIkini shade, too!
Wow, this really is beautiful, both the packaging and the colour of the blush. I’d love to give a blush like this a try but unfortunately it’s a little out of my price range x
