#MyNo7Feeling Look Four

Day four of the #MyNo7Feeling looks and it’s time for some colour – and they aren’t going half hearted on this! It’s a full on trio of teals and turquoise shades for #MyNo7Feeling Look Four. When I was first introduced to the looks I had a play with the liquid liner and have to say I was totally blown away by it’s staying power – so on that alone I was excited to give this a whirl. My only slight hesitation being the eyeshadow as I am a self-confessed fail when it comes to decent application of shadows – I tend to keep to simple neutrals so I can get away with it. But you start with colours like this and you have no-where to hide! So I opted to use an angled liner blush to apply a smudge on the lid to create a sort of softer double liner effect – essentially softening the darker liquid liner a little with more of a fade than just the solid line.

For the base for the shadow and liner I reached for the Stay Perfect Shade and Define Crayon from Look Two in the shade ‘Glistening Ray’ a sort of champagne gold shadow that DOES.NOT.BUDGE when set so I decided it would be the perfect combo and help me feel in safer territory…

For the rest of the look – I left lips bare and just wore a touch of my current favourite lip balm as they’re a bit dehydrated at the moment. For the base I was testing out a CC cream (post coming soon on that) and reached again for the Bronzing Cheek Crayon from the first look for the cheeks instead of blusher.

The look is topped off with the Stay Perfect Nail Colour in the shade Cruising – a rich teal, that is lovely on the nails – although teal nail shades do always fill me with fear because I had a bad experience with a teal polish a few years ago that managed to stain my nails and hands when I tried to remove…but I’m sure this isn’t going to be like that! Plus I have of course used my favourite base and top coat so fingers crossed! Will be changing shades again tomorrow for the next look so will let you know what removal is like! Am sure it will be fine – have just been mentally scared by one bad polish!

Having looked back at the photos I wish I’d perhaps gone for something a bit more brave than just balm on the lips. Maybe the sheer pink balm from yesterday as it would just add a hint of colour to the lips. Whilst the eyes are bolder than I’m used to, this is definitely a more wearable version and not too scary. Just a pop of colour on the lids. I do think the turquoise liner would really suit someone with darker brown eyes as the colour would perhaps stand out a little stronger than against my blue eyes overall.

Where do you stand on the coloured liner fence – love a pop of colour side or prefer to stick to black side?? Let me know your thoughts on this look…make sure you check out the others too as would love to hear what the favourite is after I’ve tried all seven!

I love how you layered up the eyeliner, it looks brilliant! I don’t think I’m brave enough for blue liner – maybe I should give it a go!

think you’ve really managed to make the liner and shadow work ! I was a bit shocked when i first saw the products in the first image ! but you’ve made it suit you!
I like coloured eyeliners but I know I’m not very good with blues on my hazel eyes, even though I do have a dark blue eyeshadow, i can never find a blush or lip colour that works well with it, even nudes.
