Models Own Diamond Luxe

Models Own recently launched another collection of new shades – with these having the luxe twist of containing real diamond dust to add a special multi-dimension sparkle. The shades in the Models Own Diamond Luxe Collection are on the classic side (mostly) with 10 shades spanning nudes, reds, burgundy, pinks and purples. Each one is a cream shade with a sparkle in there – which shows to varying levels depending on the shade.

The three shades I have here are Marquise Maroon (red), Trillion Taupe (nude) and Pear Purple (purple). All containing the shimmer, with the red showing the strongest contrast between the colour and the shimmer. Quality wise these are gorgeous polishes, with very good pigment and application.I like Models Own cream shades best I think as find they just apply a bit better than those that are meant to have more shimmer – so these work well with the added ‘diamond dust’ to add the sparkle as they keep the quality of the cream polish but with added shimmer for a little glitz.

Personally, I love these polishes and hope they expand the shade range as would love to see a few more colours with the subtle diamond sparkle. Lovely stuff. Which catches your eye?
