I think I’m having a bit of a cream finish moment when it comes to nails. Which is why on first look the Ciate Haute House collection didn’t really grab me. But all that changed when I actually gave them a try (don’t judge a nail varnish by the bottle maybe…!?). The collection is a set of five minis following on from the dolls house collection earlier in the year. These shades being all deep jewel tones that are ideal for the colder months – from a bronze duo chrome type shade, through rich purple, blue, teal and burgundy.
– Tickle My Fancy – emerald
– Sass Pot – deep purple
– Can Can – ox blood
– Knee Highs – royal blue
– For The Frill Of It – molten gold
When applied the colours really are rather gorgeous. All good coverage on two coats – perhaps with the exception of For The Thrill Of It that might benefit from a third. They shimmer rather than sparkle. My favourite is easily the gorgeous blue that is ‘Knee Highs’ – I am after all a total sucker for a blue as anyone who reads this blog will already be very much aware of.
I do like this little mini collections – small bottles of nail varnish are the way forward, as how often do you ever actually finish a full bottle of the stuff? Me, hardly ever – they usually go gloopy before I get chance! With the exception of the base/top coat products of course as I tend to go through those much more quickly!
What do you think about this collection? Any stand out shades for you?
