Goodbye 2014, hello 2015

goodbye 2014Ok, so I mentioned in my other post that 2014 has been a bit of what I would probably call an Epic year. It’s one I’ll look back on with many, many, fond memories. I started the year as an engaged 20-something, employed by a big company, with blonde hair, no tattoos and two house rabbits. I finish the year as a married 30 year old who works for herself has almost-brown hair, one tattoo and two house rabbits and a dog. This time last year feels like it was only a moment ago, yet also like it was a life time ago all at the same time. It’s a bit crazy really how a year seems to just whizz past and one of the great things about a blog is you can indulge and get a little bit reflective. I like the idea that firstly these posts give anyone reading a bit of an idea of me as a person but also that in years to come I can look back at posts like my own little online diary and be taken back to that time whilst reading the words I penned at the time. I also did something similar last year so thought it would be nice to do again.

But as I get set to ring in the New  Year with my husband (still feels awfully grown up to say that) and two of our best friends. I thought I’d just take a few moments to sum up some of my own little highlights of the year There are almost too many to mention. I’m so grateful and happy to have had such a wonderful year and can only hope that 2015 is as good or even better. Of course, every year has it’s ups and downs and it’s not all been buttercups and rainbows – but I like to focus on all the good stuff as it really did outweigh any of the challenges.

Roughly a gazzilion highlights. These aren’t even all of them. But still. Amazing year. May 2015 bring you all the happiness & health. xx
