For anyone in the US or most European cities, a trip to Sephora is probably a pretty standard thing to do. Probably not all that exciting – but for those of us in the UK where we’re denied Sephora it’s kind of a big deal. So when I was in Mallorca recently a quick little google meant I discovered that tucked away in a pretty little back streets of the city of Palma was a nice little black and white striped beauty mecca just waiting for me to hand over some hard earned cash – hence, here we have a Sephora haul.
So sure, it’s just a little one but as above – we need to get our Sephora fix whenever we can. I was quite tight on time so I skipped looking at the most familiar brands and went straight to the ones I knew I can’t get back home. So Sephora own brand it was for this mini haul.
Firstly I spotted the Sephora Cuticle Care Pot and knew immediately it would be a purchase. Anything cuticle and I’m interested – make it convenient and I’ll hand over the cash with no question. This is basically the cuticle care version of my most-loved Bourgois Nail Polish remover pots. I was imagining it would be basically sticking my finger in a pot of oil but it’s not that ‘wet’ if you get me. It’s oil, but is all soaked into the sponge so really not all that messy.
Then along with the cuticle care pot I also picked up a dark metallic green/blue duo chrome sort of nail polish. A bit of a whim purchase but very pretty. One of the Oil Infusion Lip Colours in a bright pink that I haven’t tried yet but the colour caught my eye and the idea of lip oils always appeals.
Then, another whim was the coral shade of blusher that was matte but with the tiniest hint of sheen in some lights. I am a sucker for a peachy blusher so that was a given when I spotted it.
