Is it just me, or does it seem there’s a new subscription box for each and every interest or hobby out there? Love cheese – there’s a subscription for that. Got a dog or cat? Yep, a box for that? Love beauty? There’s a tonne of boxes for that too. So it makes sense that there’s now a specialist nail box in the mix. So here is Nail Box – the nail subscription box. It works on the same format at all the other subscription boxes. Where you subscribe and get a box delivered every month filled with a mix of surprise treats to enjoy. This one all being nail related.
The last month’s box including three nail colours, one nail care (a top coat) and a nail tool (cuticle scissors). All for the price of £15 per month (max) if you go for a month by month subscription offer.
In this box there are three fairly classic shades – a lovely Nails Inc Gel Effect in the shade ‘Colville Mews’ – a stone shade. I really like the Gel Polishes from Nails Inc so this is probably my favourite shade of the bunch. Then there’s a classic red from Tanya Burr’s nail range (you can see the full collection from Tanya here) the red shade is Mischief Managed. Then lastly we have Essie – always a welcome addition as it’s one of my all time favourite brands. This shade is Rrrorange – a bright classic orange. A lovely shade, but was also one that was in the recent ‘My Little Box’ monthly sub box…which does make me wonder if it was perhaps just one that Essie had a job lot of they needed to shift?! Luckily i do like an orange nail for Summer though!
The hightlights of the box wasn’t actually the colour though but the fact that there’s a bottle of my all time favourite Seche Vite in there. It’s easily the best top coat I’ve ever tried so very happy to stock up on this. For a box to be £15 and this is normally £9 it also makes it pretty good value too. The cuticle clippers are also a good addition – although it will vary from person to person if these work for you or not.
Overall, if you like/love nails then this is an ace box to sub to. The products are all very good value and even if you don’t like shades there’s enough care/tools to keep it worth the money. Perhaps even better value than the overall beauty box offerings?!
Top picks from this box – the Nails Inc and the Seche Vite.
