I’ve mentioned on the blog MANY a time how I have hands that are constantly dry – even when I’ve been drinking my full 8 glasses of H20 and taking good care of my skin, my hands are still always in need of some extra TLC to keep them as soft as possible. So it’s become pretty constant for hand cream to never be far from my side in my bag/on my desk/in my bed side table… Currently sitting on my bed side table I have one of these little cuties which is the Neutrogena Norwegian Formula® Limited Edition packaging with an adorable wintery Scandinavian design.
The adorable design has been created by Oslo design duo, Darling Clementine and it’s just a really cute twist on an already essential Winter product – if you’re like me and have such horridly dry hands all the time! The girls at Darling Clementine even gave my blog header a little Nordic winter make-over. Isn’t it adorable?!
The Norwegian formula hand cream is one of those that is just perfect if you do suffer from dry skin as it absorbs quickly but doesn’t leave sticky residue and keeps hands feeling soft and hydrated for a long time. The formula is a whopping 40% glycerin which basically means it locks in moisture and help keeps skin soft and hydrated deep down. Hence why it feels like it lasts such a long time. For those that haven’t used the formula before it’s a balm like texture rather than a cream and it’s inspired by the traditional balms used by Norwegian fishermen! If it’s good enough to keep the hands of a fisherman moisturised then it sure as anything should be good for mine!
There’s two versions – the scented and unscented versions. I really like the soft scent of the blue packaged one – it smells lightly of jasmine I think?! But not in an offensive/overpowering way at all. But then you have the choice between the scented or unscented – whatever takes your pick. Either way they have the cute Nordic design on it to give it that perfectly wintery feel.
