Clarisonic first impressions

So after trying to resist the hype for months I have finally given in to the much-raved about clarisonic. One of the ultimate at-home beauty gadgets, it’s basically a giant electric toothbrush for the face – promising to deeply cleanse and draw out gunk with the use of sonic technology.

Hardly the most scientific explanation ever, but you get the idea.

So I started using mine last Wednesday. First impressions are the following:

– it kinda tickles and makes me want to sneeze when I use it near my nose.
– it’s definitely doing something.

About two days after I started using it my chin has started to break out. This is a problem/congested area for me, so not surprising. But I’m amazed how quickly I’m seeing the effects. I knew not to expect just perfect skin from first use and that it often causes breakouts as it brings deep down gunk to the surface – so that’s ok.

So they are my first thoughts. I’ll report back again in a few weeks/month when I’ve given it a bit longer to do it’s thing.
