It goes without saying that I have more than a bit of an obsession with beauty. Ten years as a blogger and I still can’t get enough of the palettes and new launches and generally beautiful things. Christmas is that time of year that all the brands pull out the big guns with beautiful products, collections and special edition packaging to tempt you into giving them the much coveted spot on your Christmas list. I’ve taken it upon myself – I know, it’s basically a public service – to pull together this post that is ALL about the best and the beautiful beauty gifts. Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you – the ultimate beauty junkie Christmas gift guide 2019. I hope this helps you with a little spark of inspiration if you’re buying for a fellow beauty junkie!

It isn’t Christmas without a little dose of Jo Malone in there. Each year they have a beautiful new addition for the festive season and this year is no exception. Of course there’s always the classics (I’m partial to a generous helping of Pomegranate Noir at this time of year, the bath oil is DREAMY). BUT this year’s limited edition scent of Rose and Magnolia is a beauty, even if you’re not a rose fan (I’m generally not) it is gorgeous. The Rose is softened by the magnolia, but making it soft and powdery rather than intensely floral. Trust me, if you don’t usually fancy rose – this one is still worth a shot.

As soon as I saw this, I knew resistance was futile. I have a soft spot for Tom Ford and as a brand overall, it makes for a beautiful gift. There are three quads in the Soleil Neige (basically the winter version of their ever popular Summer Solil collection). They have largely sold out online, but I found this one on a Tom Ford counter in John Lewis and they had plenty in stock, so even if it’s not online it doesn’t mean it’s gone. This palette is equal parts a beautiful gift but also everyday wearable.

Yep, another one I just couldn’t help myself. A gorgeous mixture between the blusher shades and the radiant powders. There’s also a four shade quad but the six shade mix is the one for me as has a more wearable selection in my opinion. Anyone who has a soft spot for beauty will no doubt already have this on their Christmas dream wish list.

I could probably make a whole dream wish list dedicated to the Charlotte Tilbury gift offerings but I’ve been a little self controlled and picked out my two favourites. The Charlotte Darling is a gorgeously compact palette that has just the right amount of shades in there to make it a go-to palette for 2020. It’s a beauty and will be the perfect addition to even the most edited of makeup bags. THEN we have the beautiful highlighter, a golden glow that’s just the right shade between a radiant glow and golden shimmer. It’s BEAUTIFUL.

I’ve had my eye on these stunning lipsticks since Lisa launched the first drop sold out. So when this new launch of nudes and reds came out I couldn’t resist. These lipsticks really are something else. The lipsticks are just stunning and unlike anything else I’ve seen. The quality is just beyond my expectations and the colours are a selection of the most wearable reds I’ve ever had. Ticking all bases from classic, to orange red & a deep berry. Plus they come with a stunning red velvet pouch. Perfect gift territory.

Every year Diptque launch a trio of festive candles, most years I tend to have a soft spot for the green one that smells like Christmas trees but this year the blue one has totally won me over. A warm and toasty scent with the stunning packaging (the design changes every year) it’s a lovely addition to a gift list as who doesn’t love a special Dipqyque candle to burn and then save the holder for that all important makeup brush storage once the candle has gone.

MAC have offered this lipstick set as part of their Christmas gift sets for a couple of years and I’ve always had my eye on it. Sure, there’s a voice in my head saying ‘but do you really need a load of mini sized lipsticks’ but why would I start listening to the voices in my head now?! This year, courtesy of a 20% off Black Friday discount I decided to pick this up to include in my gift guide and share with you all… and if I’m feeling really generous, then you might just be seeing this as a little giveaway very soon… I know, I’m too good to you all.

I shared this on Instagram when I ordered it and I couldn’t resist including it in here. There’s a whole load of star-themed gifts this year, but this is my pick. A trio of gorgeous NARS cheek shades, offering a glow in a variety of cheek flattering blusher and highlighter options. All embossed with little stars and covered with a sparkling red star design. I’m delighted I bought this so have no hesitation to recommend it for your Christmas wish list!

Remember the hype around the Becca Champagne Pop highlight? Well, this is the latest iteration of the shade in a palette form. The glow-giving highlight is as good as ever and now it’s combined with four cheek and eye shades. All of which could really be used on eyes or cheeks, there are no rules here… I love a multi functional palette and wearable shades will always be my thing so this palette is definitely earning it’s spot on the ultimate beauty junkie gift guide list.

When a few pieces from the Bobbi Brown Christmas collection arrived I had to take a moment to calm myself as I was just a bit too over excited about the goodies before my eyes. The stand out piece has to be this absolute beaut of a palette. With a mix of those signature wearable shades, mostly with shimmer plus a few matte shades that are a sort of sheeny matt not just flat matt. In short, a fantastic combination of interesting and everyday all set up in a beautiful jewelled look package.

Ok so the one exception to this post that I don’t have to show you but just HAVE to include a mention of is the epic Drunk Elephant ‘The Trunk’ (see what they did there?). The Trunk is a little fridge (not an essential but a cool way to keep your products chilled and refreshing to use) and it’s TOTALLY STASHED with a load of the best of Drunk Elephant. Including the Protini Cream and the Glycolic Overnight Treatment, plus a whole host of other products to keep your Drunk Elephant stash well and truly topped up.
Drunk Elephant products shown are PR samples.

Lancome have a gorgeously shimmering silver special collection for Christmas 2019 and it was a tough call on which to include between the silvery packaged version of my favourite mascara or this lip palette. But I decided to go with the lips, as the rest of the guide has been pretty eye/glow heavy so adding in some lip seems like a good idea and this palette is packed with ace shades. With nine different lip options and a brush to apply (plus a decent sized mirror of course) there’s everything from bold reds to shimmering gloss finishes.

Have you seen my other Christmas gift guides 2019?
The Bobbi Brown palette has been out of stock everywhere for ages.
It was on a counter in John Lewis last week so suspect still in stores?
