Once I’ve calmed my excitement over all the pretty things in my ultimate gift guide I am back with another to share. This time with a focus on all things budget friendly – all of the gifts in this guide are available for under £25. With something for everyone from full gift sets to luxury skincare and makeup items. A whole lot of beauty goodness with a budget friendly price tag!
I feel like the Molton Brown Bauble is fast becoming a Christmas tradition and this years seasonal fragrance – Bizarre Brandy – is a festive scent that feels like a more interesting twist as it smells basically like a Christmas pudding that’s been freshly lit in preparation for eating. Warm and spicy it captures a cosy yet zingy side to this time of year.
A smaller (but decent – 50ml) sized bottle of the classic REN AHA Tonic. In the gorgeous bold Zebra print packaging. A great stocking filler or perhaps a secret Santa gift if you want to avoid the novelty route…
L’Occitane has a great selection of beauty gifts, both of my parents love L’Occitane products so they’re an annual go-to for me for Christmas (and birthdays…) Couldn’t not give them a mention with their budget friendly offerings this year. They have sets like this classic one with hand cream and the almond shower oil (my personal favourite). Plus things like baubles for £12, trios of the famous hand creams for under £20. I would highly recommend L’Occitane a destination to tick off those ‘what the heck do I buy’ people as I really think there’s lovely stuff for so many people to be found here.
The packaging the Habitat (at Sainsbury’s) gift range really caught my eye because it’s affordable but looks really stylish. This trio is a bargain at £12 and I think is an ideal stocking filler or gift. Especially one for someone who perhaps moved house recently so putting a snazzy little hand care set out in their new home will go down well.
A trio of wearable nude shades in one of the best long lasting lipsticks on the market? YES PLEASE. This is an ace gift for the lipstick-wearer who likes to keep their lipstick on the neutral side but keep it flawless all day.
BeautyBlender really are a wonder of the beauty world – once you get the secret to making them work (clue: use it wet, not dry… ) then there’s no looking back. Nothing else gives as flawless a finish. There’s a tonne of cheaper copies out there, but I’m yet to find one that works as well. This gift set is fantastic value as it contains two classic size blenders, which would normally cost £17 each. This set is currently on offer for £23.80 and there’s a single blender version for £13.30 – they come with the ‘jewels’ which are actually blender-friendly cleanser. Cute and practical.
Shiseido has some beautiful skincare, often premium skincare comes with a premium price tag. But this little gift is a perfect way to gift some high quality products without breaking the bank. This cracker gift contains a 30ml Quick Gentle Cleanser and a 30ml Clear Mega-Hydrating Creamn (which has a lovely gel texture to it so feels really light but leaves skin instantly moisturised). For £17 for the duo it makes a lovely quality gift if you perhaps know someone already loves their skincare or are a Shiseido fan. Speaking of gift friendly fancy skincare, this Sunday Riley ornament style skincare mini is another great option. Containing two of the most popular products – the CEO Glow Vitamin C and Tumeric Face Oil and the CEO Vitamin C Rapid Flash Brightening Serum. A great way to try a brand before shelling out for the more expensive full sized options. Ideal for someone who might have been hitting the Christmas party message a tad hard and need a bit of perking up for their New Year skin…
There’s roughly a million eyeshadow palettes on the market fighting for attention but this one from Zoeva is well worth your attention (& hard earned cash). A gorgeous mix of colours, not all the most predictable BUT all an easy to wear twist on ones you might feel ‘safe’ with. With things like a gorgeous rose gold called Cherish, a soft lavender grey called Dearest. Gorgeous shades, compact palette and a good sized mirror. Zoeva shadows are great pay off too, good value for money.
Polaar is a brand I only really discovered in 2019 and I’m very excited to see what is in store for them in 2020. The Nuit Polar night mask is fabulous if you like your night cream one that feels fresh rather than thick and heavy. They have some lovely gift offerings, with the essentials trio being my pick. With a lip balm, a gel moisturiser (with glacier water) and the Nuit Polar Night Cream (also lovely, like the mask). A lovely way to discover the brand. Trust me when I say who ever you give this to will love the night mask!
Three Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks for under £25? I know, too good to be true right? Well, with this mini trio if the incredible (leopard print…) Hot Lips that launched this year you can have three of the fab shades for £25. The mini set includes diddy versions of JK Magic (a nude), Viva La Vegara (a rich burgundy) & Amazing Amal (a rosy berry pink). I don’t know a single beauty junkie (myself included) who wouldn’t be over the moon to find some Charlotte Tilbury under the tree/in their stocking…
