NOTD: Essie Smooth Sailing

This is one of the (many) nail colours I picked up when I was in Louisiana in April, in fact it was the first colour I bought because as soon as I spotted it I fell in love. Described by Essie as ‘a breezy lavender blue with a reflection of pearl’. I call it cornflower blue shade, and yes there is a ‘reflection of pearl’ (aka glitter).
It applied really nicely and was totally opaque in two coats. Plus a top coat and it lasted really nicely. My only complaint is the chunky glitter that whilst not too obvious in colour it does take away from the glossiness that I prefer. A top coat does help though.

What do you think of this shade? Have you picked up anything from the Essie Summer collection? I also have Too Too Hot that’s an amazing summery red  that I need to do a NOTD on.

Nice colour (and you prob. mean cornflower…). Prefer my Essies glitter-free, though.
