Recently I popped to a rather fabulous event for the new By Terry Spring Collection – which includes, amongst other rather stunning products – this Hyaluronic Blush in ‘Blushberry’. This is only of two shades – the other being a gorgeous peachy pink shade that really is Spring in a blush. But for now, more about Blushberry…
This is a creamy and strongly pigmented liquid blusher – that when squeezed from the tube looks a little intimidating. But then a tiny amount goes a long way to create a pretty, health glow. The sort of pinched cheek look – the sort of glow of lit up skin after a bracing walk in the cold. This is pretty much perfect for this year where it’s still horrid and freezing – where is Spring?! Surely a hint of sunshine and slightly rising temperatures are due by now!
The other nice addition for this shade is that it has a hint of shimmer for a glow. It’s one that it gorgeous on paler skin but will look equally pretty on skin that develops a little more colour when the sun does make an appearance. The shimmer will look really flattering as it’s so soft.
One of my favourite things about the overall By Terry range is the addition of hyularonic acid to so many of the products – where hyularonic acid is basically my buzz word in skincare, to see this in make-up products has me very much hook line and sinker. In fact, top of my beauty shopping list is the By Terry Hyularonic Hydra Powder – at a pretty steep £41 it’s not exactly a budget buy, but I’ve heard such good stuff and had a little play with it at the event I really think I need it in my life… !
Have you ever been tempted to splurge on an expensive beauty investment after reading good stuff about it?? What’s been your biggest beauty indulgence!?
Available from SpaceNK (Blush is £28)
