This week’s weekend wish list is brought to you by my already-empty bank account and mile long Autumn Winter shopping wish list. When it comes to shopping, I love this time of year – the shops are filled with cosy jumpers and boots and it’s getting to the sort of temperatures where they’re comfy and appropriate but not so essential that you shiver without them. The sort of weather where a light jacket and jeans is fine, a coat would be too much.
1: NARS Deep Throat Blusher – Ever since I tried this at the launch for the new Astalift Foundation it’s been on the top of my lust list. A gorgeous shade that could very well overtake ‘Orgasm’ as my favourite NARS powder blusher.
2: Striped T-Shirt Dress – My wardrobe is currently 90% grey jumpers and striped items. But regardless, I spotted this and wanted it. What can I say, I know what I like and stick to it?! Plus I think this is a reasonable price and despite having lots of striped tops, I don’t really have any striped dresses (there’s a girly justification for a purchase for you)
3: Lilac Notebook – I can’t resist cute stationary and loved the look of this simple notebook. With the sort of overly obvious word notebook emblazoned across the front. Who doesn’t need a bit of nice stationary for that back-to-school feeling (new stationary was always the best part of back to school).
4: Bright Pink Biker Jacket – This one is a bit different for me as I do generally tend to stick to fairly simple, classic items for my wardrobe but I do also like to have the odd exceptional piece and when I saw this, it was love. Bright pink biker jacket?! Amazing. Plus such an easy item to dress up something and give it a new look – I imagine this over black jeans, slouchy grey jumper – then POW – stand out jacket on top. Who said Autumn has to be filled with the typical rich berry shades and dark greens?!
5: Grey Animal Print Dress – Another one I spotted and knew I wanted straight away. It had all the items I love in a good dress – jersey fabric? check. Long sleeves? check. Grey? check. Animal print that’s not too in your face? check. Plus…it’s currently discounted on the website…it’s going to be pretty much impossible to resist this one.
6: Lipstick in Beehive – A new addition to the Topshop lipstick line in the form of another covetable ‘my lips but better’ type of shade. Do I need another of these in my life? No, not really. But I still really struggle to resist the lure of the adorable packaging and lust-worthy shades. Will be checking this one out in person next time I pop to Oxford Circus for a little browse.
What’s on your wish list this weekend?!
