Tarte launches in the UK

It’s always exciting to see a new brand hit the market in the UK, and when it’s a much coveted brand from across the pond…then this little beauty junkie really does get a bit over excited! So to hear that the rather fabulous Tarte launches in the UK on QVC this month, my first thought was ‘woohoo’ and my next thought was if they will have the full blusher collection available… (I had heard rumblings that the range was due to launch, so held off purchasing any of the blushers when I was in NYC). But launching it is – and it’s already available on the QVC website.

The ever so slight catch is that it isn’t the total range, but more of an edited selection of favourites – so there are three of the blusher shades available – including the gorgeous pop of pink that is ‘Fearless’ shown here. There’s also the Marcuja oil and a trio of the lip shades – including Golden Pink, Rose and Soft Coral. Golden Pink is the main one showed in these pictures – and she’s a beauty. There’s also the Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara that comes in some pretty neat leather packaging and a palette that I very much have my eye on (not currently showing on the QVC website) but contains a mix of bronze and brown eyeshadow shades.

I might be wrong, but I suspect that the edited collection is essentially a ‘test’ of how popular the products are over here…and there may be a chance that should they sell well, more will be launched or they may branch out beyond being exclusive to QVC. Who knows, all I know is that I am rather excited to see this range hitting our shores… and already have the Amazonian Clay Blush in the shade ‘True Love’ on my wish (along with that beauty of a palette). Actually, I’m also really curious about the full coverage foundation too… see, what did I tell you?! I’m an excited little beauty junkie!

Tell me, are you excited to see Tarte hit the UK? Any products caught your eye yet?

I really want to try their stuff, but I have such a hard time colour-matching, I can’t gamble with something this expensive that it will be the right match, and their shade-finder is pretty useless.
