London: Flesh & Buns

Can’t believe these shots are actually from last year, bad blogger. But a few months ago, a selection of my favourite girls and I headed out for dinner to Flesh & Buns in Covent Garden. I had heard good things but in all honesty didn’t know what to expect. Was it going to be one of those China Town like places where there’s small tables, intimate feeling with food in small but delicious portions. Or somewhere trendy with dark lighting and lots of buzz. In reality, it was a bit of both.

You head down the stairs from street level and are greeted by a busy, buzzing space with dark lighting and lots of people. There’s a busy bar filled with people waiting to be seated and tables are intimate, but not too crowded.

The main star of the show are the meat. In typical fashion, we couldn’t decided which selection to go with so went with a bit of everything. Covering off steak, chicken and salmon. All of which are delicious and I really couldn’t pick a favourite. My tip is go with a group then there are enough of you to get a bit of everything.

Then, despite being totally stuffed after the main courses – we just had to order the s’mores desert option. Which arrives with giant springy marshmallows and a little fire to toast them on. Seriously good fun and delicious at the same time. 100& need to order this if you go – save space, it’s worth it.

    Hi Jen,

Just discovered your blog and it’s so great! I went to Flesh and Buns recently and loved it – didn’t save space for the marshmallows, but ordered them anyway haha!

Look forward to reading about more of your adventures 🙂
