I have always had a proper soft spot for Bourjois – it’s a lovely brand with a ton of heritage that always manages to bring out new and exciting products. Some of which are the best on the high street (the foundations for example are some of the best affordable ones on the market). For Spring/Summer they launched a few pretty little bits and bobs including the Bourjois Aqua Blush in four shades, plus some new shades of the 1 Seconde nail colours and the 3D Lipgloss too.
I am somewhat on the fence about lipgloss at the moment – I love the sheen, how easy they are to apply and the fresh look they offer. I don’t like how the slightest breeze and long hair combination ruins all of this. But having said that these shades are very pretty. Creamy gel shades, with a hint of sheer colour but no glitter or shimmer there to spoil it. Just pretty colour if you want something a bit lighter and fresher than lipstick.

Then we have the main attraction which is the Bourjois Aqua Blush – a new liquid formula blusher option. It comes in a tube that’s pump action (nice and hygeninc) and lightweight (i.e. not glass) so perfect for toting around. One pump delivers quite a lot of product – so go easy. About 1/2 is more than enough for a healthy flush.
The texture is lovely and light – a gel not a cream. Feels very fresh on the skin – almost like it just blends with skin like water. A lovely Summer product as really gives that lovely fresh, hydrated, healthy glow. The shades are both a touch paler in swatch than they might seem they will be from the packaging – so the pink is more of a fresh, cool-tone pink than the hot pink packaging suggests etc. Not a bad thing at all, but worth knowing if you’re considering a purchase.

With the Bourjois Aqua Blush I would say the main thing to note is that a little really does go a long way as I mentioned. The colours blend to a sheer gel and even what looks like a tiny amount seems to spread into a large amount as it blends into skin. But they are sheer and do blend very easily – just one thing worth knowing before first use!
Along with the gloss shades and new Bourjois Aqua Blush there are also these three new Spring/Summer perfect shades of the 1 Seconde Gel Polish range. I love these polishes (great formula and brush) I do wish the lids were about a cm shorter so they were easier to store though…! The blue is my favourite (insert heart eyes emoji here).

I’m so intrigued by these blushes. The pink seems like such a gorgeous shade. I’ll have to give them a swatch next time I’m in boots.

Those blushes look lovely. I agree that Bourjois is an excellent brand – their foundations and blushes are always top quality. My only bone to pick with them is that sometimes their colours aren’t that exciting in eye products, but love their formulations! Do they have these blushes in brighter colours?

Interesting products!! Need to try! Thaks for post darling!!!
Those blushes look gorgeous – I’m particularly in love with the pink one, but I’m not sure whether it’s worth me picking them up as I’m normally more of a powder girl…
