When I first heard the name of the recent Bobbi Brown Lilac Rose collection I was expecting something much sweeter and girly than it actually is – but on closer inspection it’s the perfect balance between nudes and pinks and purples… to me, it’s the nude side that makes it a gorgeous Spring collection look fresh and not too girly-girl!
This post will be split into two, one to look at the overall collection and one dedicated to the eyeshadow palette…

First up there’s the creamy cheek colour stick – in Sheer Pink. It’s a very pretty and wearable colour, and if one of the things about a cream blusher that puts you off is how to apply then this is ideal. The twist up stick makes it really easy to apply, build the colour and blend. The swatch above shows it applied heavily and blended out – so you can compare the two. It really is a pretty, universally flattering shade.
The two glosses – Lilac Rose and Pink Lily are similar with a slight colour difference between the pinker shade and the slightly more lilac shade. My favourite of the two is Pink Lily – the bright colour is lovely and will look fab over an equally bright pink lip gloss to give it a shine.
Then we have the real star shade for me – the pretty nail colour in ‘Roza’ – I absolutely adore this nude, it’s simple and pretty at the same time. It has a pink tint to it that keeps it flattering and steers its slightly away from the mannequin hands territory.
So there’s peek number one of the Bobbi Brown Lilac Rose Collection – my main loves from this selection are the nude nail shade and the creamy cheek colour. Both gorgeous and a lovely update for Spring.

This is such a pretty collection, Bobbi Brown aaaalways get it so right. I even want the lipglosses, and I don’t even like lipgloss!! I haven’t seen the cheek tint before actually, I’m quite interested by that, I really like that kind of product!
