Currently loving…

I’m not great at posting my monthly favourites on time, so this is just more of a current round up of some products I’m loving a lot at the moment…with links to full reviews where I have posted on them individually:

currently loving july

Bobbi Brown Cement Eye Shadow* – (mentioned HERE)not as an eyeshadow, but as a brow filler. The shade is an ideal cool tone to darken my brows without making them look un-natural. It’s pale enough that it gives the effect of a natural shadow. Not pictured but another love is the Bobbi Brown angled brow brush that I’m using to apply this – makes filling in brows very quick and easy.

Moroccan Oil Dry Scalp Treatment* – (full review HERE) I loved this when I first used it, but it was an absolute god-send after my week away in the sun which left my scalp not very happy (dryer than usual due to salt/sand/sun/more frequent washing) but two uses of this and it was back to normal. Love it.

Clarins Instant Smooth Self Tan* – (full review HERE) another quick and easy beauty love. This has been great for lazy make-up days (when I can’t even be bothered to apply a BB cream) or just to keep my post holiday glow going a little longer. Love the natural look this gives, how easy is is to use and how it doesn’t leave your face shiny at all.

Liz Earle blush in ‘Nectar’* – (full review HERE)one of those universally flattering coral type shades. Love this – it’s very pigmented so only a quick dab is needed for a flush of colour but this has been my daily go-to for the past week or so since I got back from holiday. Love raiding the stash and pulling out forgotten gems!

Dior BB Cream – (mentioned HERE)I’ve been so busy wearing this daily since I bought it that I haven’t had chance to write down the many reasons why I love it. It really is worth the hype though – will do a more in-depth post soon, promise!

Bobbi Brown Intensifying Long Wear Mascara* – (also mentioned HERE) another Bobbi Brown favourite, I am absolutely loving this one daily at the moment. It has a really tiny brush that allows me to get right into corners and works perfectly on the lower lashes too. It’s a very natural looking formula at first and one coat is a bit *too* natural for my tastes but it builds amazingly. I can layer and layer this on until I get the level of lash-drama I’m feeling like that day. Best part though – no smudges or flaking at all. AMAZING for hot summer days – adore this mascara.

NUDE Cleansing Oil* – There’s a full review to come on this very soon, but as a teaser…I’m really liking this. On a totally shallow front, I love the style and colour of the packaging…and on a performance level it does a great job at cleansing every last scrap of make-up off quickly. I’ll save the details for the full review, but love this.

Origins GinZing Moisturiser – Another love of the past couple of months that deserves a full review. If you like a fresh feeling moisturiser that smells great and really hydrates then this is right up your street. It’s the new face version of Origins famous eye cream version – it’s very light, very hydrating and feels great. I’ve been using this either first thing in the morning when I’m doing my daily Barry’s Bootcamp sessions and want something to wake me up before I do my full day-time routine after my workout then shower.. or when I get in from work and take my make-up off as an instant refresher for the evening. My only bug bear with this, I’d love to see an SPF version so I can wear in the day.

Other recent loves include…MARS ice creams, Robin Thicke ‘Blurred Lines’, slouchy printed trousers, sunglasses (obsessed with a pair of Ray Bans), shopping the ASOS sale, the smell of BBQ and attempting to keep up regular running.

There we have some of my recent loves – expect to see these popping up regularly in posts over the coming weeks!

I have to agree with you on the ginzing, I wish there was SPF in it, but boy does it wake you up in the morning! It’s so refreshing!
