Jo Malone Bridal Collection

Having a signature wedding day fragrance is something I’ve talked about before (read my in store bridal consultation experience HERE) – it was Jo Malone who I turned to for my own wedding day scent (more on this on a wedding beauty post coming soon). So when they invited me along to a gorgeous afternoon tea to celebrate the new Jo Malone Bridal Collection I just had to say yes.

Going to the Jo Malone Town House is always an experience and a half – every single launch or event I have been to there has seen the whole space totally transformed  so it’s basically unrecognisable from the previous time. Case in point, for the wedding launch it was a delightful long table with flowers flowing from every direction you could imagine. Next time… for the launch on Incense & Cedrat, it had been magically turned into a middle-Eastern scene. Complete with tree and Oman-style canopy with low seating. Amazing stuff. But today’s post is about the former – the Bridal collection. Bringing together the best selling fragrances from the brand and giving them that little extra special touch of bridal detailing. Each bottle of the top scents has a lace design etched into the glass of the bottle.

IMG_7561 IMG_7564It’s one of those small details that sure – could be totally unnecessary and a little indulgent. But if you can’t be a little indulgent for your wedding, then when can you?! The scents included are:

– Orange Blossom (one of my two wedding day scents)

– Red Roses

– Pomegranate Noir

– Peony & Blush Suede

– English Pear & Freesia

– Lime Basil & Mandarin

– Nectarine Blossom & Honey

– Wild Bluebell

– Velvet Rose & Oud

– Dark Amber & Ginger Lily

It’s a gorgeous idea and I love that they haven’t just chosen the typical Cologne – there are the intense scents in there too. My personal top pick would always be Orange Blossom simply because it is one I used on my wedding day. But on the day I got to smell Nectarine Blossom & Honey (shown here) and it’s a gorgeous Spring scent. Fresh but sweet all at the same time – would make a lovely wedding day fragrance.

Or even just a gorgeous gift if you know someone who has a favourite scent in this collection?

I’m starting to try various JM scents to choose one for my wedding day, but haven’t found the one just yet. These bottles are gorgeous.

Would definitely recommend trying the combining approach! I chose two scents and layered them. Not cheapest way but the bottles last years and makes something special – whenever I smell the two I chose together it makes me smile!
