Aerin Fragrances have some of the most gorgeous bottles I’ve ever seen. They’re not in your face flashy, just beautiful and totally worthy of the pride of place spot on a dressing table. Waterlily Sun was launched back in 2014 and has been a regular feature in my favourite fragrances. But I realised that whilst I talked about Iris Meadow – the sort of ‘sister’ fragrance that was launched at the same time. So why not give Aerin Waterlily Sun a little moment to shine.
First things first, Waterlily Sun is described as a ‘floral green fragrance’. It contains top notes of bergamot and ‘green notes’, middle notes of waterlily and jasmine and base note of musk (according to Fragantia).
The thing I like about this is that it does combine two of my favourite ‘families’ of perfume as it manages to be both fresh and light but also a little musky at the same time. Like all the Aerin fragrances I’ve tried, they all have a little something different about them. They’re never predictable – always very wearable and interesting, but always unlike any others.
At £88 a bottle, these are rather luxury treats. Dare I say it, one for the Christmas list?!
