Lancome Rouge in Love Lipsticks

Following on from my other post on one of the new Vernis in Love nail colours, here’s a little look at five of the shades from the Rouge in Love lip colours – of which Emma Watson is the face.
As with a lipstick I previously purchased from the Spring collection, the packaging is stunning – the lipsticks are each housed in cute little brushed metal packaging, with the Rouge in Love name branded on the front. These are definitely the sort of lipsticks you would be proud to pull out of your make-up bag on the bus.

To put it simply, these are fantastic quality lipsticks. From the packaging to the application and the staying power. They are creamy, non-drying, well pigmented. There really isn’t anything to fault, at £21 they aren’t cheap – but they aren’t the most expensive lipstick on the market either. For the quality, they are worthy of the treat.

Apparently the ‘Rouge in Love’ shade is one of Emma Watson’s favourites – and it’s one of mine too. I also really like Rose Boudoir. Even Violette Coquette doesn’t look as scary swatched as it does in the tube! Which of the five shades stand out to you? There are a total of 24 shades of the Rouge in Love range, so bound to be something for everyone!

Lancome is available from Boots.com  and the Rouge in Love lipsticks are £21.

I love all the colours, you got such a great selection! I think the purple lipstick is a great subtle transition into the “neon” trend – this particular colour has a significant amount of pigmentation, but it’s not an “overly shocking” bright shade. Haha am i making any sense? :S

These are all so beautiful, but I have to agree I love the Rouge in Love Shade. I really think I’m going to pick one of these up because I just keep hearing such great things!
